Recognize how thoughts, emotions and behaviours can influence bias. Incorporate strategies to overcome biases. Empathy is the gateway to improved communication, client/employee engagement, greater sales effectiveness, secondary or add-on revenue, and overall greater satisfaction with work and professional growth. The word empathy has only been around since the late 1930’s, and it’s meaning continues to evolve and grow.
