Her career has run the gamut from textile designer to design director, and most recently, Founder and Creative Director for MAYES NYC. Brandy was introduced to the garment business by her seamstress mother at a very young age. This is what sparked her interest and motivated her to attend Central Michigan University. There, she earned a BAA in clothing and textile design. After moving to Manhattan, Brandy spent the early years of her career at Calvin Klein and the Limited. Then spending many years at Levi’s, cementing her transition from young textile designer to design director.
